Based in Toronto, Saxon Chocolates is a manufacturer of first-rate Belgian chocolate.
In 1994, Johan De Greef, born in Antwerp, Belgium, founded Saxon Chocolates with the desire to bring gourmet chocolate made in the Belgian tradition to the North American market.
Using only the very best ingredients available, Saxon Chocolates produce collections of high quality chocolate treats that are sold through high-end retailers in Canada and the United States.
Mrs. McGarrigle's came to life in 1988, born of the spirit and determination of its founder, Janet Campbell.
Though humble in its beginnings - manufacturing condiments in the basement of an Ottawa hotel after hours - Mrs. McGarrigle's has morphed into a stylish gourmet food, fine kitchenware and home décor retailer.
Like the business itself, the store has expanded again and again. It not only accommodates the retail business, but also serves as premises for the mustard and condiment manufacturing operation, and is also home to a respected cooking school.
Mrs. McGarrigle's gourmet mustards (fourteen blends are available), chutneys, preserves and seasonings are hand-made in Merrickville, just south of Ottawa.
Mrs. McGarrigle's received the Retailer of Distinction award at the 2007 CGTA (Canadian Gift & Tableware Association) Retailer of the Year Awards.
Smoke Fine Foods's came to life in 2006 born of the spirit and determination of its founder, Hyman Weisbord.
The company is established in the Laurentians, north of Montreal, Quebec.

Terra Creta S.A. was established in 2001 and is located in Chania, Crete (Greece).

The Brome Lake Ducks farm is built on long-standing tradition. Established in 1912 on the western shore of Brome Lake, the farm is the oldest duck-breeding farm in Canada.
The company’s founder was an American from New York who chose to breed Peking duck —a large white duck with a yellow bill and feet, as well as delicious meat—which had been imported from China to the United States in 1873.
The annual output of the company has increased five-fold in the past 15 years, rising from 25,000 ducks to more than 2,000,000 in 2006.
The facilities are HACCP certified.
